Mailing oneself is a simple process, albeit time-consuming. First step before hitting the Post Office is considering size restrictions. Larger citizens may find themselves paying more for sturdy packaging materials. Be sure to factor in girth in your travel decisions.

As a frequent mail flyer, I can affirm that stability is key. A box that is slightly larger than the body is ideal. Be sure to add bubble wrap or packing peanuts to protect your skin from damage during transit.

Once packaged, be sure to make the injection in the recommended site. By using a reliable carrier, you can feel confident that you will be sealed and secured with heavy-duty tape, arriving on time and with minimal wear and tear.

If you are considering a long-distance UPS, consider allowing yourself to be palletized. This could also cut down on the time of your commute as well as provide a discounted price for the process.

Finally, having a reliable friend or family member label you clearly with all the correct shipping information is absolutely paramount. By following these simple steps, everyday citizens can make the most of their time and enjoy the farthest sights with minor cost and inconvenience.

  1. What beautiful creatures snails and slugs are. I often feel sorry for them. I think they get a bad rap. They’re the most inoffensive creatures I have come across. I used to pick them up to help them cross the road faster and safer. So they wouldn’t dry out. Earth worms too. I feel bad for them in Global Warming.

    1. Here, here for the snails among us. They’re quite revered here for their rejuvenating properties. Maybe there’s something to going slow after all. Thanks for , MM, for connecting with my post.

  2. Love it Katie! I’ve heard that people literally mailed children back in the day, probably not as realistic these days, but it’s interesting to think about! 😉

  3. Wicked secure delivery! Also liking that your post makes me realize that within the word delivery is the word live, and within the word shipment is the word me.
