Adorn the moon
with a lay of fresh blooms:

menthol chrysanthemum,
marigold, star or royalty.
orchid crown, a teacher’s efforts,
studded with globe amaranth jewels.

Forgiveness is a singular flame
placed in offering
for those with longevity or near dying;
tonight, it’s all the same.

Bend down by waters edge
and lift the lotus
to kiss the forehead in gratitude.

Dance with your ancestors
to the coda.

The search for enlightenment,
life’s platitudes,
met with empathy tucked between
intricately folded banana leaves.

Set your worst self to sail
on whatever dark waters remain.

We all reach the heavenly pagoda in the end.

    1. Thank you, John. I made that one. It was nice to create something and sail it out into the night.

Yes, it was a good feeling. Offering to the moon, the universe the worst bits. I hope they take them. I want to never stop changing.💜
