All she wants is a place to rest
her 8-inch platform boots
and spread the forest of her legs
without seed taking root.

A place where rivers run
pink by design, and
grapefruits blossoms peacefully,
bitter balanced with sweet.

A place she’ll stay
until her feminine power is renewed,
until she’s grown a thick rind, and

self-loathing retreats.

I must admit, my mind was in the gutter when it came to this part of the poem 😭

But amazing poetry and I must say you have an amazing way with words.
