I didn’t mean to
low road,
gravel clouds
blurring
smoke clouds,
swirling
to Free Bird.
Skin sweating,
wanting,
vinyl,
reclining seats.
We were lost
inside
a guitar riff,
ending before
things
could ever be
the same.

  1. ‘Free Bird’ is good but I just love ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ ; there is no better place to be than lost inside a guitar riff 🙂

    1. I couldn’t listen to free bird for a few years, but I can embrace it now, memories fading like that.

    1. Thanks, Hobbo. There’s a few songs that have that ever-lasting riff.
