What A Picture Book Taught Me

I fell in love with Maurice Sendak’s Chicken Soup with Rice as a child, and now it’s my son’s number one most requested book at bedtime. Could be because I help sing along.

lovely thought: beautifully expressed; the only Sendak book I’ve read is the one everyone’s read and I’ve read it over and over again, to myself, my kids and grandkids 🙂
