Reach Out to Me

friendship, hope

Reach out to me
arm in arm
an archway
safe passage
for times of flight.

Reach out to me
shoulder to shoulder
a natural bridge
the unforced bend
of true friendship.

Reach out to me
hand fits hand
my cavernous companion
resonant, our
depths unseen.

Reach out to me
limb against limb
We cross the cleft
of seclusion to enjoy
life’s panoramic view.

Reach out to me
palm pressing palm
we overcome canyons
create new growth;
our bond a catenary arch.
