Today, the suns not budging.

She rubs her Buddha belly

and makes foolish wishes,

glimmering till mid-morning,

mulish.

Until the mascaron mist parts,

and she slingshots,

a pebble skipped towards shore,

kissing fire into the waves

which start to roar,

furious to be separated

from the good luck orb

they so adore.

    1. Thank you, Tom. 😊 I had a bit of luck myself catching some fresh imagery off the shore for New Years. I’d like to think I will one day wake up by the ocean every day.
