Street lights dots

through the passenger view,

a cheetah chasing sunset,

her prey’s torment almost through.

And though she may hide

behind pink bubblegum clouds

stuck in the day’s silvery updo;

the bobby pin trees bend and release

to reveal her crouching

in plain view.

    1. Thank you so much. I’m resting this weekend
      After what felt like a losing battle of a week, so these kind words are warming. 💜
