Dark chocolate night,
a cherry sun sinks
from its spot on top,
as we spoon on the couch.
Resolve “wafers,”
laughter drizzles
between layers of
caramel conversation
and ripe bananas.
Tongue topping tongue,
swirl of sauce
as we go nuts
below a scoop
of vanilla bean moon.
Our love sundae.
