Pass me a stack 
of cracked spines,
ones with the softest, 
sewn bindings.

I'm a literary mind.

Thankful for the present 
of another page turned.
Oh, the aching arc!
The hardest hook. 

What better way 
to say I love you

  I thought that might be the case. I’m the book whisperer in my family. Almost all the cousins and nieces/nephews ask me to pick out books as presents. I am very happy in this role. 😊

I love your quadrille! I used to volunteer at local libraries and am a self-confessed bibliophile – a literary mind – also ‘thankful for the present of another page turned’. Books are my favourite presents.
