The day has run it's course
with dignity.
Let the clouds pass me,
bruised elbows and knees
handing off the baton
in this long journey.
Hours whistle.
Minutes whine.
Both faithful
to the final chime.
But I don't let such things
fret me.
I'm content
with a day well spent
resting.

    1. Yes. They were moving so quickly and I was feeling quite run-down by the end of the school year. I’m glad I disconnected and rested.

    1. Thank you, Pam. So exhausted the past few days as the school year ends here. It was nice to have a moment to watch the clouds and connect to nature.

    1. Thank you, Michele. I allowed myself some rest the last few days as I was feeling under the weather and exhausted from the end of the school year. I’m glad I have learned how to appreciate pauses. 💜

    1. Thank you. I have seen this band as an opener before their album, Blue. They had that “it” even then. I really appreciate you following my blog. 💜
