Happy 4th of July! Today is a day to celebrate independence, something I think we all strive for in our own way.
In my pursuit of financial independence to be a full-time writer, I’m pleased to announce that the Moonstone Arts Center located in Philadelphia, PA has selected one of my traditional haiku for publication in their 2023 Haiku collection. I am overjoyed to have a micro-poem published in the pages of this collection, and I would be honored if you considered purchasing a copy to enjoy.

Moonstone’s mission is to stimulate communication across the barriers of language, gender, ethnicity, and age, and their programs are based on the philosophy that the arts, creativity, and imagination are essential aspects of life and learning.
May the freedom of expression forever ring!
Here is a haiku (not in the recent publication) given freely in celebration of today:
Golden-tendriled Sun,
freckle the lake and dry dock
we push off in trust.
