Stop sign of dread and doom.

In the current climate,

feeling good becomes a chore

’cause every heartbeat counts

and the hospital ran out of room.

They give her the chair

there’s nowhere to hide

a pregnancy scare.

Doctor! Doctor! Give her the news!

She’s lost her right to chose.

No Diggity, no dignity

a spiked drink, a violating snooze.

In case you missed the point

of what I’ve said,

they want what’s inside you

alive or dead,

so let’s paint this town red.
