Blubbery blue moon
I’m a whaler,
grenade on harpoon,
searching the foamy waves of clouds
for a clear shot at June.
One foot in,
explosion.
Bleed it out
from a water spot.
Four months to repent
these floral organs spent,
the death of summer and
life most sentient.
