After day’s disappearance, a metamorphosis of earth and sky, the moon mounts her inky steed, as virgin limbs bow down from the Redwood trees. Tonight, her majesty will ride. She's a hot air balloon drifting from roof to roof navigating the maze of constellations in search of self-fulfilling truth. Her exhales form dippers. The milky way trails her open gown, and after she makes her journey, spa-like clouds cool her feet down. She must gallop until pleasure erupts–– a shooting star, a speck of dust. one to covet, but only from afar.
