Waves polished by sunlight.

After a careful rub,

they have new life.

Rum punch sunset,

clouds a flash-fried yammy.

Moon served round,

a fresh grilled bammy.

Mi have inner luv fi your time.

On the island,

no day like another,

and I’ll admit, it’s hard to match the color

of a west-side party

leaning in

to love each other.

  4. what a happy, infectious reggae infused song ; had to look up some of the words but I assumed they were foods; I enjoyed the flavor you evoked of the West Indies 🙂

      2. I hope so, but as way leads to way…I have a lot more written from those few days. Now to find the time to make them into something…hmm.
