Night strides by in foggy slippers
all her jewelry on display,
and in awe and admiration,
the moon gets carried away.
Tide and cloud collide
in foamy, see-through waves,
and bare-chested salutations
hold a special sway.
Though strength be but a pebble's throw from ending,
and life's tide be evermore rescinding,
none can deny such a powerful display,
when in momentary infatuation
the palest flesh
got carried away.
