The sky is a milk dish
the whiskery trees brush against,
but this once frothy treat
has been taken away;
I can’t digest the luxury.
Almond and soy kill the joy.
Despite the irresistible taste,
a sugary, high-fat Sunday
is not good for the gut
or the waist.
