“Ablaze” by Russell Irwin

Just a breath,
a friction,
from these we all begin.
A flighty figment
feeling
rising from within.

And if our sparks connect,
bumping in the dark.
We ignite from passion;
we become a spark.

Bursting from our mothers,
glowing with her glee.
Our fragile light ignited,
our flighty flame burns free.

    Beautiful! Especially the first stanza. And I’m a big fan of the Sturgill Simpson song.
