I'm living fifteen minutes
before all the rest.

A hitch in my internal
mechanism,
I'm a spazoid,
a glitch.

Way out in the water,
tripping over sentences
and sidewalks,
warning strangers
of pitfalls
they can't see coming
a few pages unread.

Life is urgent,
and filled with dread,
for the barely ahead.

    1. Thanks, Bob. It’s a curse-like blessing, I imagine. I’d like to write more about this time glitch character. ⏳
