PJ’s worn inside-out,
string bean forgiveness,
the teakettle whistles,
the engine revs.
Thanksgiving at home;
no helmets on a private road,
and even the dog has Alzheimer’s
‘cause old grudges are gone.
Tuk tuk magnets,
Bendicks Bittermints,
their frosty filling
a dose of warm.

    1. Thank you kindly, Sandy. It was a roller coaster ride, but you may be right. There’s something about feasting in the fall that should be treasured, and I’d say it’s worth the spreading of gratitude and awkward family memories to make a fall festival of some sort happen.

    1. Thank you, John. I’d be squeezing for sure. This one gives me a warm glow this evening. I have to admit despite all my trepidation about the holiday, I had the very best of times with people I missed when away. Oh, but do tell all about your budding spring to keep us warm in this hemisphere.
